Appearance:

Typically wears a full body ninja suit, revealing no skin besides the area around ehr eyes. Her ninja v thing is a dark blue, and the lin kuei symbol is used as a belt buckle. Her eyes are an amber color. When in a more modern setting when the ninja outfit is less practical she wears a white cheongsam with red leggings underneath, and black flats. she wears long white gloves as well for warmth, as well as prevention. Her hair is always tied into low pigtails and comes down to between her shoulder blades. She is very slender in appearance but is much stronger than she looks.

Special Abilities: Ji Li has the ability to in a sense copy a person’s ability if she has skin to skin contact with them. For example if she touches Sub-zero, she gains his ability to freeze. However she doesn’t strip their ability from them. This ability has a consequence. If she touches all powerful beings such as gods, their power would ultimately kill her, and should she touch some one corrupt, she herself would be corrupted. Anything dealing with temperature extremes causes her constant pain.

Biography:
Originally of the Akouza clan that had prided itself in its ninja that lacked super human abilities, Ji Li had great dreams of becoming one of the best ninja and looking out for her clan. She had no idea she possessed the power of mimicry because the old man that took care of her never bothered to tell her, and always had her wear gloves when going outside the Akouza village, though she never knew why. One day the lord that had hired both the Lin Kuei and the Akouza clan for missions had forced them into a peaceful meeting with him, under the threat of pulling their contracts should they refuse to cooperate, so a handful of representatives from both sides, as well as some young ones (to show off their training, in the minds of the elders) were sent to “try” to enjoy each other’s company. The children, Ji Li included, had no problems doing so. Ji Li however, had forgotten her gloves, and was playing a game of tag with some of the Lin Kuei children. The later to be known as the Subzero brothers were among them, and she had touched the younger Subzero. Both dropped to the ground seizing, and Ji Li started to whimper about it being so cold. The Akouza clan didn’t take this very well. (Younger Sub was alright after about a day of rest). They had opted to give her to the Lin Kuei, as well as make an attempt at assassinating the Grand Master. However Ji Li wasn’t going to go quietly. She alerted the Lin Kuei to the presence of the assassins, angry at what she felt was betrayal to her, and was given a chance to serve the Lin Kuei by the grand master. She took it gladly, feeling happy that at least they didn’t treat her as much of a freak as did the previous clan.

Personality:

Before the incident with touching the younger Sub, she was happy, care free, and a bit rebellious. Afterwards she became withdrawn, anti social to most, and has a don’t touch me attitude. She’s also snappy towards those that try to get close to her, and has some serious trust issues.

Extras:
She adores the Lin Kuei grandmaster. Not to the point of literally worshipping the ground he walks on, but she will lay down her life for him.

The Cyber Initiative breaks her. She will opt to run off with Tundra and Smoke as she cares a bit about those two. And touching Tundra doesn’t set anything off. Though she’d rather not

She has to take a constant supply of pain pills for her arms, which are frozen as a result of touching younger sub. It sucks ass for her.

She has a small crush on Smoke, though she’s yet to tell anyone.

She rarely lets anyone touch her, they’d have to have a glove on.

She hates Sektor and older Sub with a passion. Both are dicks in her opinion. She hates Sektor more though.
